What's New

See the latest improvements to IncidentLoop as they are released.

Stay up to date

  • Important updates appear in a short popup the next time you sign in. Click Got it once you have read it and it will not come back.
  • Open What's New from the My Account menu, or from the link at the bottom of any page, to read every update.

Clearer menu for brokers with several clients

The menu now highlights only the client you are looking at.

Menu fix

  • When you manage more than one client, only the client whose dashboard is open is highlighted in the menu.
  • Fixed a visual glitch in the menu that appeared when several clients were listed.

Tighter security and more reliable forms

A round of security hardening and fixes to forms and notifications.

Security

  • Every incident, person, vehicle, quote and photo is now strictly limited to the teams that should see it.
  • Sign-in links are limited in how often they can be requested, and several input-handling weaknesses were closed.

Forms

  • Errors in forms now show a message instead of failing silently.
  • A form no longer disappears if saving fails, and Save is disabled while it is saving.
  • Quote forms no longer lock up after a validation error.

Fixes

  • Restoring an archived incident no longer blanks its admin fields.
  • When a repair is approved, the customer is now notified.
  • Quote-authorised emails go to the right person.
  • The broker dashboard works for a broker with no clients yet.

A dedicated Reports area

Reports now have their own area, separate from the dashboard.

Find your reports in one place

  • Open Reports from the menu to see every report available to you.
  • Each report links back to Reports and to the Dashboard, so you can move between them easily.

Search archived incidents from the dashboard

Find an old incident without leaving the dashboard.

Search

  • Tick Include archive when searching the dashboard to include archived incidents in the results.
  • Archived incidents are clearly marked in the results.

Contact details for people on an incident

Record an address for each person involved, and see their phone, email and address in the list.

People

  • Add an address when you add a person to an incident.
  • A person's phone number, email and address are now shown together in the list of people.

New incident reports

Reports to see where incidents are stuck, what is missing, and what claims are costing.

For clients

  • Incident Pipeline shows how long incidents have been in each status.
  • Section Performance shows which sections hold things up.
  • Data Completeness shows which incidents are missing information.
  • Claims Cost and Quote Variance compares quotes with what was authorised.

For brokers

  • Action Queue lists the incidents waiting on the broker.
  • Submission Readiness shows which claims are ready to send to the insurer.
  • Outcomes and Recovery shows how claims ended and what was recovered.

Also

  • Outstanding Actions no longer lists archived incidents.

Handling users are told when they are assigned

Whoever is made responsible for an incident now gets an email with the details.

Notifications

  • When you are made the handling user for an incident, you receive an email with the incident details and a link to it.
  • The member dashboard shows how many incidents you are handling and lists them.

Outstanding actions and broker information requests

See everything waiting on you in one list, and let brokers ask for more information.

Outstanding Actions

  • A new Outstanding Actions page lists the incidents and sections that still need attention, and the dashboard shows how many there are.
  • The dashboard can be searched and filtered by status.

Brokers

  • Brokers can request more information on a section of an incident. The incident moves to Data Requested, and the client's admins, the person assigned to that section and the handling user are emailed.
  • The incident status can be changed from a dropdown and is shown clearly on the incident.

Tag colleagues in notes and enter a VIN

Bring a colleague into a note, and log vehicles by VIN as well as registration.

Notes

  • Tag a colleague in a note to let them know it needs their attention.

Vehicles

  • Enter a full VIN instead of a registration number when that is all you have.

Screens

  • The dashboard, archive, outstanding actions and locations screens now share a more consistent layout.

Archive incidents and assign work

Tidy finished incidents away, say who is handling each one, and give each section of an incident an owner.

Archive

  • Archive an incident to remove it from the dashboard, and restore it later if you need it. Archived incidents live in the Incident Archive.

Who is responsible

  • Choose a handling user for each incident.
  • Assign a person to each section of an incident (vehicles, people, photos, costings and so on), and unassign them again if plans change.
  • Sections are now numbered, so it is easier to see what is left to do.

Manage your locations and zoom into photos

Keep a list of your sites, say which one is handling each incident, and look closely at photos.

Locations

  • Add, edit and manage your sites from Manage Locations.
  • Each incident can now record a handling location (set on the Admin tab), shown in the dashboard list.

Photos

  • Click a photo to open a larger preview and zoom in on the detail.

Broker tools

Brokers can now review and classify the incidents of the clients they manage.

For brokers

  • A new Broker tab on each incident lets the broker record whether it is a fault or no-fault claim, choose an incident category, and upload a remittance document.
  • Insurance company details are held for each client, so the broker can see the policy and contact information alongside the incident.
